On Wednesday, May 20th, freshmen from Catholic Central explored hands-on career opportunities during this year’s MiCareerQuest, an interactive career awareness event designed to connect young people with high-demand industries and local employers.
Hosted with support from Michigan Works! and regional education and industry partners, the event brought together more than 150 employers and organizations to showcase careers in fields including advanced manufacturing, agriculture, health care, skilled trades, transportation, public safety, and information technology.
Through interactive exhibits and demonstrations, students had the opportunity to experience potential career paths firsthand while learning directly from employers about the skills, training, and education needed for future careers. Activities throughout the event encouraged students to explore industries that are critical to the region’s workforce and economic growth.
