CONGRATULATIONS CAPELLA CHOIR - Please congratulate the Capella Choir, who received an Excellent (Division 1) rating at their performance at the District Choral Festival last Friday! They did an awesome job and represented Catholic Central very well!
MISSION TRIP FUNDRAISER - Support Catholic Central High School students attending the Adelante Youth Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic by dining at our fundraiser this Monday, February 23rd at Noco Provisions in Ada. Noco Provisions is a local favorite known for its fresh, from-scratch menu, and handcrafted drinks - perfect for lunch, dinner, or takeout! A portion of the proceeds will go directly to Adelante Youth Mission and our Catholic Central student missionaries as they prepare to serve in the D.R. We hope to see you there - bring your friends, family, and appetite for a great cause!

GIRLS' WATER POLO - The CC-EGR girls co-op water polo team is looking for players and anyone interested in trying a new sport. No prior water polo knowledge or experience is required. FOWLING TOURNAMENT - The boys lacrosse team is hosting a Fowling Tournament on Saturday, February 28th at the Fowling Warehouse. They have a special rate just for students of $50 per team (2 people), which includes fowling and food. The winning team will receive a prize and trophy! They will be selling tickets at lunches on Monday and Tuesday. Tickets can be purchased with cash or card. Find a friend, buy a ticket at lunch, and get ready for a fun day of fowling!
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY - Enjoy working with kids? And would you also enjoy a volunteer activity that involves running? San Juan Diego Academy is looking for volunteers to help coach the Total Trek Quest program this Spring at the school. TTQ is a program for 3rd to 5th grade boys that teaches them to make positive life choices through running, culminating in a competitive 5K run at the end of the practices. Practices run on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:40 to 5:10 p.m., beginning March 17 and ending on May 16. (There are no practices during Spring break.) All you would need to do is run with the boys and encourage them to keep moving toward their goal. Running times range from 20 minutes to 40 minutes. There will be trained coaches present who will be responsible for actually running practices. Coaches may be male or female, but must be at least 16 years old. JUNIOR JOB SHADOWS - Just a reminder about Job Shadow placements - forms are due to your Theology teacher by Monday, March 2nd. Forms were handed out in class at the start of 2nd semester. JOB SHADOW OPPORTUNITY - Progressive Engineering is hosting a Job Shadow Day. They give you tons of information about engineering, architecture and interior design. RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY - Seniors - here’s an incredible opportunity! Spend your summer working at the Van Andel Institute and get paid while gaining hands-on experience in cutting-edge biomedical research. This prestigious program is perfect for students interested in medicine, research, or both - and it looks outstanding on college and post-college applications and résumés.
