The Catholic Promise has expanded access to a Catholic Central education by opening doors for more families who value an excellent, Christ-centered education for their children. But this program is about so much more.

According to President Greg Deja, the Catholic Promise seeks to re-engage families in the life of their parishes, strengthen retention in parish schools, inspire new generosity, and deepen the relationship between parishes, families, and schools. “Our vision is that this program renews a shared sense of mission and co-responsibility for a thriving Catholic faith community in West Michigan,” says Deja.

To help realize this vision, Catholic Central has already met with more than 200 households to engage in meaningful dialogue about this work and identify ways to support each other. Grounded in a spirit of gratitude and stewardship, these conferences invite a relational commitment with families who value faith formation, community life, and excellent education.
