CORDS FOR BLOOD DRIVE - Seniors who give blood and/or volunteer at blood drives: Please submit your application by April 10th if you are eligible for Blood Cords at graduation. There will be a focus time in room 501 on April 4 if you need help with the application process.

UPCOMING BLOOD DRIVE - Save Lives! Mark your calendars! The last CC Blood Drive of this school year is happening on April 25th, 2025. If you're 16 or older, this is your chance to make a difference—one donation can help save up to three lives!  Bonus: Those who donate or volunteer multiple times may qualify for a special red cord to wear at graduation! BRIAN BUSH LIFE AWARD NOMINATIONS - Students -  please consider nominating a current CC freshmen for the Brian Bush Life Award.  Requirements for this award are listed in the nomination form.

FIDDLER ON THE ROOF - Join Sacred Heart as they present Fiddler on the Roof at the Wealthy Street Theater May 1-3. 

MARIAN BABY SHOWER - The Students for Life will be hosting a Marian Baby Shower to celebrate Mary and to collect baby items for local pregnancy resource centers. If you bring in any of the following items, you will receive 2 treats, and your name will be entered into a raffle for a $20 Amazon gift card. Treats can also be purchased for $2 at the time of the shower. Items will be collected in the Pack 'n Play in the COREX room in the 2nd floor student center from March 24 - April 21. The baby shower itself will occur on April 22-23.

LENTEN ART COMPETITION - Campus Ministry, in collaboration with Mrs. Blair, will be hosting a Lenten Art Competition! What is the Lenten Art Competition? Lent is a season of reflection and spiritual growth, and this year, we invite all students to express their understanding of the Seven Pillars of Catholic Social Teaching through art. These pillars are essential values that guide how we treat one another and our world. The Mission: This competition is open to all students, whether or not you are currently enrolled in an art class. Choose one of the Seven Pillars that resonates with you, and create an original artwork that visually represents that pillar. See this flyer for rules and regulations.

ART SHOW - Join us for a showcase featuring the incredible 2D and 3D artwork of Catholic Central’s studio art class. All students, parents, staff and friends are welcome to attend. The show will be held April 2 from 5:30-7:30pm at Cathedral Square in Room A. Light refreshments will be served.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTER TRAINING - Campus Ministry will hold a training for Eucharistic ministers on April 24th from 1:15-3pm.This is an opportunity for current CC juniors to receive training as Eucharistic Ministers for the Diocese of Grand Rapids. This preparation will equip them to serve both at school Masses and in their home parishes. Please sign up HERE

COUGAR GEAR STORE - The Cougar Gear Store store will be open for Spring games. They will be having lots of great sales on old merchandise as new merchandise is coming in. Also, please add a note that they are looking  to add 2-3 more people to the Cougar Gear Store family. Anyone interested please email Wendi Moore - weemoore@comcast.net.

SUMMER PROGRAM - GRow1000 - Now Accepting Youth Applications for 2025! This summer young people ages 15 to 24 will have the opportunity to explore a career and obtain valuable work experience while earning money. Pay for all work assignments will be $13.00/per hour. The first day employees will report to work is Monday, June 9th. The last day employees will report to work is Friday, July 18th. Program participants will be matched with employers for a 6-week, 120-hour, paid work experience. Through this experience, area businesses and organizations will introduce youth to real-world work environments, and create pathways to future careers. APPLY HERE

ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES - Three endowed Catholic Central scholarships are available to graduating seniors. Applications are due from seniors April 4, 2025

  • The Lawrence and Patricia Ranazzi Transfer Scholarship is open to students who transferred to Catholic Central from a local public or private high school. Applications for this scholarship only are due May 2, 2025
