CAMPUS MINISTRY NEWS -Beginning this Friday, September 6 Mass will be celebrated at 7:15am each Friday in our school Chapel. This is an optional but encouraged way to end the school week with the celebration of the Eucharist. All are welcome!
COUGAR CAFE - The Cougar Cafe will be opening in 2 weeks and are looking for students that want to work this year. Job interviews will be held this week on Thursday during focus time. Please sign up for Mr. Gorski’s focus time if you are interested in working this year. We are looking for before school, after school and if possible during lunch (if you have a learning lab during C4, C5, or C6) If you work during those times, you will still have time to get some homework done and eat your lunch as well. If you can not make it to the interviews this week, please email Mr. Gorski and we can find another time.

TUTORING - Tutoring begins this week Tues-Thurs mornings 7am-8am in the library (English/Social Studies focus with Mrs. Ciucci) and Mon-Wed after school in the library from 3-4 (Math/Science focus) with Mrs. Raab (M/W) and Mrs. O'Rourke (T/Th). All students are welcome to walk in when support is needed.
SHAKESPEARE NEWS - Mr. Rose will be in the Band Room Wednesday afternoon to answer all of the questions you may have regarding this winter’s production of Shakespeare’s “A Comedy of Errors.” Auditions will be held Friday afternoon after school.
CATHOLIC CHARITIES CHAMPIONS - If you are over 16 and are looking for a way to make a difference in the West Michigan community please consider applying to be a Catholic Charities Champion for the 24-25 school year. If you would like more information click this link or stop by 501 to talk with Mrs. Perry. The deadline for applications is Sep 20, 2024.
WANT TO START A CLUB? - Are you interested in starting a club at CC? The current clubs are listed in the form linked below. If you would like to start up a different club, please fill out THIS FORM. This form is due by Friday September 6th. Club sign ups are going to be held following week (Wednesday September 11th and Thursday September 12th). BLOOD DRIVE - September 13, 2024 is the next CC blood drive. So if you are 16 or older you are encouraged to give others the gift of life since one blood donation can help up to three people. Also, those who donate/volunteer a certain number of times qualify for a special red cord that is worn at graduation. HARMEL ACADEMY - Harmel Academy students, faculty, and staff are traveling down to Chicago to the IMTS Trade Show (the largest manufacturing technology show in the western hemisphere!) on Tuesday Sept 10th. They have invited a few of our students to travel with them and attend the trade show for free (including entrance into the show, travel and meals). There is a giant robotics demo and many other interesting exhibits and networking possibilities.
